Why Me

Verifiable identity. I've been operating a U.S. ‑based consulting company, R&F Consulting, Inc., since 2001 (for over 20 years). Registered and currently in good standing with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Communication through an email address under a domain name owned by the same business entity. Payments to a U.S. Verified Business PayPal account, established in 2001, owned by the same business entity.

Verifiable security. The software I deliver is signed electronically by R&F Consulting, Inc., verified by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and Apple to be a U.S. ‑based commercial software developer. The company's product, easyAsPieDB, signed with the same credentials, has been present in the Apple App Store since 2010 and is currently being allowed by Apple to be installed on mobile devices worldwide.

Verifiable experience. I have over 20 years of programming experience overall with over 10 years of experience as a mobile software developer specifically on the iOS/iPadOS platforms. I manage and develop a considerable, over 0.5 million lines‑of‑code Productivity/Business app, easyAsPieDB (formerly “Objectality”), published by R&F Consulting, Inc. The product has been selected as one of the Awardees at the Mobile World Congress 2014 by The Linux Foundation, Samsung and Intel.

Verifiable communication skills. I am a U.S. citizen with U.S. educational and professional background. I hold a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the City University of New York in Manhattan. My specialty is not only programming, but also the art of working with very non-technical clients to figure out very technical solutions, one step at a time.

Broad expertise. I can also handle back-end programming tasks such as high-performance RESTful API development (Actix Web, Rust), cost-efficient serverless development (Cloudflare Workers, Rust) and blockchain/crypto development (Solana, Rust).

Rate

My current rate is only $25/hour.

(Limited time only; you need a developer, I need new references.)

Methodology

• Native development. The mobile apps I deliver are developed with Apple‑provided toolset (Xcode) and written in the latest Apple programming language (Swift) as opposed to any third-party development environments. High performance even on older iOS/iPadOS devices, look‑and‑feel 100% consistent with all other iPhone/iPad apps. (Objective‑C expertise also available.)

• SwiftUI. The mobile User Interfaces (UIs) I deliver are assembled with SwiftUI, an innovative way to build apps, introduced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in 2019. By working declaratively and compositionally, SwiftUI forces a programmer to produce higher quality code by allowing fewer possible mistakes, thus significantly reducing development costs. Automatic sizing, based on flexible rules rather than fixed pixels, works not only on all current iOS/iPadOS devices, but also with any future screen sizes. (UIKit, Auto‑Layout/Storyboards expertise also available.)

• No cheap templates. The code I deliver is written from scratch and optimized for your specific project. I do not purchase “generic” app templates and then try to force them into new purposes, as such templates often become hard to maintain and at some point have to be partially re-written.

• No Artificial Intelligence (AI) Spaghetti. The code I deliver is written entirely manually without the use of AI. AI might be able to write code quickly at the beginning, but AI-generated projects often become impossible to maintain once they grow in size and complexity and at some point have to be completely re-written.

• No non-commercial, open-source code. The code I deliver does not directly include or indirectly use any open-source (freely available, third-party) code, unless such code is available under a permissive commercial license such as The MIT License, so that it cannot create any legal issues for you, the owner.

• No offshore outsourcing. The code I deliver is written entirely by me. You can review every single line of it with me personally and get required support, training, bug fixes, etc.

• No endless delays with unknown progress. You get progress reports every single day of development (every 8 billable hours). I get paid every three (3) full days of development (every 24 billable hours).

• No deliberate lock-in techniques. You get immediate access to the latest version of your source code upon full payment, so you can freely decide whether you wish to continue. The code I deliver is always written using only the latest technologies, as opposed to obscure or outdated ones, to ensure that you can always find another developer to transfer your project to.

• No ownership ambiguities. I hereby expressly declare that all source code and related deliverables provided by me in the course of a paid engagement shall become the sole and exclusive property of the client upon full payment. I retain no ownership rights. No license, express or implied, is granted to me after delivery. All intellectual property rights are fully and irrevocably assigned to the client.

• No disclosure ambiguities. I hereby acknowledge and agree that any and all source code, technical information, documentation, and other proprietary materials (“Confidential Information”) provided by the client in the course of a project shall remain the sole property of the client. I agree not to disclose, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise make available any Confidential Information to any third party without the client’s prior written consent. This obligation shall survive the completion of the project and remain in effect indefinitely unless otherwise agreed in writing.
