Purpose

TimeTTracker MX2 is an award-winning tool designed to keep track of anything, especially time and money. The application has been developed for both individuals who need to organize personal information, and for businesses of all sizes - anyone who demands the most from their computing experience. With TimeTTracker, you can gather, review, and report any information related to your activities (generally, time you care about), income or spending (generally, some numbers you care about).

Analyze your personal, business or reimbursable expenses and find out where your money is going. Keep track of time when it comes to personal or employee activities.

Flexibility

TimeTTracker will let you adapt itself to whatever you need to do with it through its Terminology Manager - a piece of software that lets you assign new names to the data you are interested in. Have clients, projects, and tasks ? No problem. Have departments, lectures, groups ? Sure. Have to deal with swimming team progress and results ? TimeTTracker can do that too, with unlimited multiple independent real-time timers. Oh, it can keep track of your vehicle mileage also, including odometer readings.

Two Applications In One

Two applications integrated in one: TimeTTracker is divided into two separate, independent "modes of operation" ("sections"), called "time" and "expense", organizing your data according to whether it is time-related, or involves some numbers. Both modes are completely independent and include specialized context-sensitive user interface elements, automation features, and reporting capabilities. You will not need to learn two separate applications though, as only data-specific software elements differ across the two sections, but the look and feel stays the same.

Two Platform Versions

Two major platform versions in one: TimeTTracker will work on your Windows-based desktop PC and your Windows Mobile-based Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). You are not getting the same module just refitted for both desktop and device. The PDA version maximizes efficiency, and implements the Never Enter The Same Data Twice concept. Its interface is specifically tailored to using a PDA stylus and avoids imprecise character recognition. The Windows (desktop PC) version maximizes computing power available on a desktop machine and implements additional power-user features. Its interface is specifically tailored to using a keyboard and a mouse, down to defining custom keyboard shortcuts and using your mouse to work with blocks of records.

Integrated At No Additional Cost

Whichever application section or platform version you use, you can synchronize your data freely and effortlessly. TimeTTracker MX2 integrates Microsoft ActiveSync technology (available for free from Microsoft's Pocket PC website) to move your data over from your desktop PC to your PDA device, and from your PDA device to your desktop PC across a wireless, dial-up, USB cable, network, or serial cable connection.

Open-ended Without Additional Software

Even though TimeTTracker uses native Microsoft SQL Server Compact databases, no additional software is required to run TimeTTracker. You won't need to purchase database licenses, or download anything else - everything necessary is included with the software's integrated installer. You can use the additional power of Microsoft SQL Server Compact to work with TimeTTracker's databases directly. Make up your own additional queries, forms, tables, views, or what might have you.

For Beginners and Power Users

TimeTTracker's interface is very intuitive and does not require any "initial setup" at all. Start it up, and begin working with your data. Get to know more and more features as you go. Once you get comfortable with the application, flip a switch to "enable" more advanced features and TimeTTracker will transform itself to let you do more, like define persistent data dependency "trees" (valid activities for certain entities, valid payment types for certain expenses, etc.), create records in bulk from pre-filled templates, define reusable data queries, or implement data archiving system (through separate archival databases and MD5-secure backup files).

Extras

Once you gather information about your activities or your numbers, you will, of course, want to do something with it. TimeTTracker can establish data interfacing to other applications through CSV (Microsoft Excel, Access, etc.), XML, IIF (Intuit QuickBooks) and QIF (Microsoft Money, Intuit Quicken) file generation. It also gives you four major reporting engines: automated summaries, invoice-style list reports, fully customizable report generator, and a presentation-quality rendered 2D/3D charting engine.
